Premiere Toys Babylon 5 Lyta Alexander Action Figure is 6" tall and comes with a miniature Green Ship. Released in 1997.

I was very excited about this action figure. I went to the studio on a day off and sat through hair and make up. Then I had to stand in front of a brilliantly lit, blank background and be photographed from all angles for hours. This was way before 3D printing! Months passed as we awaited the ultimate design and production of our Babylon 5 dolls! 

The deluxe dolls in fabric costumes were released first. So pretty. Lyta wasn’t granted one of those. 

When these next-level dolls were released, I couldn’t believe it. My Lyta was the ugliest doll in the known universe. No eyebrows–at all. No make-up to define her bland face. Not even my features–after all those hours of photographs. Lyta-doll’s face looks like Delenn–doll’s face without any paint to adorn the eyes, lips, or eyebrows.

But were Delenn’s eyes crossed, like this Lyta’s? 

And what’s with lame ‘Green Ship’ ? Couldn’t they have done a little research? 

I was so sad. The ugliest doll in the B5 Universe. The Vorlons would have left her in the tube had she looked like this.

And yet, she’s all ours. Quite a special item for the right collector!
